According to the program's site, it's the only program of its kind. It's completed only during summers, and it takes anywhere from 6 to 10 summers. Voulez-Vous Posted June 15, 2014 Share Posted June 15, 2014 I was very interested in this program when I first found out about it, but in inquiring about it from others in the language teaching field, they said it was primarily a way for a career public school teacher to get a doctorate during the summers so that they would get the pay bump that comes with having a doctorate.
