UCSD IR/PS Nomination?

Hi, 

 

   I was rejected from all but one school (UCSD), womp womp. It's not that I was accepted to UCSD, but rather that I hadn't heard back from them until today. I actually called them because it had been so long, and the admissions office told me that my candidacy had been nominated but that my application was sent to the office of graduate studies, and that due to the amount of things the office of grad studies was doing they had been running late on...whatever it is they are supposed to do with my application. Does anyone know what this means? Does it mean I still have a chance of being rejected? Or does it mean I got in? All the admissions personnel told me was that it was a good thing haha.
