I'd really like to get advice and talk to others about the application process and what comes after, but a lot of the topics here (and on other sites) don't apply to my situation. I can say that in my field there are definitely progressional science masters degrees designed for working professionals to enhance their skills/career, but I have no idea if there are equivalent programs in other areas of academia.
