Waiting on Wait Lists

Recommended Posts

For those of us who are waiting on some schools wait list still, lets name the schools and talk about our thoughts and hopes of maybe getting off a certain schools wait list, etc.

Personally I am wait listed at 3 schools still, ENMU, Idaho State and Fort Hays.  Fort Hays has notified me that I am on the extended wait list if anyone drops before the first day of school.  Idaho State has sent out 2 rounds of acceptances and cut the wait list this week by sending out rejections and as of today I did not get a rejection in the mail.  And Eastern New Mexico I was told if a few people decline the 2nd round of acceptance(they have until May 12th to accept) then I would get an acceptance.  :)

Technically waiting on PSU, but self-report of those accepted off PSU's waitlist have all been from the "very near to the top" category, while my husband was "in the middle," so we're expecting a rejection next week. It's all good though, we're excited to try a new part of the country.  B)

I am currently waiting on George Washington University. In the letter I received it said that my application will be re-reviewed as spaces open up and can possibly go into late August. I am crossing my fingers!! I really like their program for the transgender clinic and their 8 sub clinics. I hope people change their mind between now and the semester starts. I think the chances may be slim, idk though.

I'm waiting on SIUE although I've already accepted a spot at SLU. SIUe would just be much more convenient and cost effective. I called last week and they said that there were still a few spots left to fill, so hopefully I'll hear either way before I start classes at SLU!

I'm still waiting to hear from ISU and Northern Colorado. Realistically, I do not expect to get off the waitlist at UNCO. There was an email saying their cohort is full for the Fall, but I will remain on waitlist in case there are openings. I'm waiting anxiously to hear from ISU. ISU is pretty much my last hope.****fingers crossed****

Well it looks like since you didn't get a rejection letter in the mail this past weekend that your still on the wait list!  So there's still a good chance I would think!  :)   I got my rejection letter saturday.

Welp, I got the official rejection from Idaho State's Waitlist today.

So sorry to hear that. Bet it doesn't sting as much when you have a couple options to fall back on. Are you waiting on the distance program through ENMU?

ENMU does not have a fully online program, but its very close to it.  It requires one full semester(your first) on campus and then you have the option to do the rest online.  I think I should hear back this week if I will get a spot off the wait list or be rejected off of it.

Hi @Twinguy7 I noticed that you will be attending GVSU for winter 2015? I applied for the July 15th deadline for winter admission, is this the same enrollment period you applied for? If so, When did you hear from them? Sorry for all the questions, I have several rejections and I am nervous about receiving yet another one.

I was accepted for FALL 2014.  December 2015 reflects my anticipated graduation date.  sorry.
