I called CSUF about two weeks ago and they stated they hadn't made any decisions yet, but I really need to know as soon as possible so I can make final decisions regarding which school to attend. The other school I am interested in already had the CalSWEC orientation and is working on field placements and I hate to take up a spot with them that can be used by someone else if CSUF ends up offering me the stipend Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Listner Posted May 27, 2014 Author Share Posted May 27, 2014 Thank you for the update.It is indeed a waiting game but i hope all will be resolved soon.Kindly keep me posted if you hear anything and i will do the same.CALSWEC is a great program since i have seen great social workers develop from the program through mentoring by county supervisors andi have witnessed their impact in the community during their internships.It is not easy but if you are in it for the premise of enhancing social justice for the long haul you will be successful in the profession.
