UC Berkeley - Energy & Resources

I am interested in applying to the Energy and Resources program at Berkeley; however, my educational background is in anthropology. Do you guys think that might be a problem?

I am considering going my local CC after I graduate to take some more advanced math and science courses (since I was initially interested in only pursuing social sciences my highest math was statistics and I need to take some biology courses) because I am afraid that I do not have adequate preparation.

I have also read on this forum that not too many students are accepted so any insight that you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated!
