debster
My daughter used several different books, apps, etc when preparing, and she thought that the Magoosh online training was far and away the most helpful. She actually thought the real test was a little easier than Magoosh had prepped her for, a pleasant surprise.

anslpaday
Not an app - but I used the Princeton Review book. It looks more at how to take the test so that you use the skills you already have more effectively (Though it of course reviews a lot of skills you need). I felt really prepared and confident with it. http://www.amazon.com/Cracking-Premium-Practice-Graduate-Preparation/dp/0804124701/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1411441735&sr=8-1&keywords=gre+book+princeton+review
