Honestly, all schools feel like "reach" schools for me with my less than stellar academic record and rather unimpressive volunteer history. Anyone feeling the same? From reading past threads on this forum, it seems like NYU responds quickly when you apply early. If I'm accepted, I won't be applying to any other schools. If I don't end up hearing back by the end of the month, I'll apply to a couple more. I have a friend who applied last November and heard back four weeks later. And I read a post here saying he/she applied 9/28 (of last year) and heard back 10 days later, so I was hoping they'd be that quick this time around too. Good to know that isn't always the case. Yes, my reach schools are SDSU, CSULB, & my safety schools are CSU CHICO, SACRAMENTO, & SAN JOSE. Although like you said I feel like all of them are reach schools for me, i just think SDSU & CSULB are more competitive. shauna34 Posted October 7, 2014 Share Posted October 7, 2014 I hear back from NYU Sept 29, early admission, because the deadline was Oct 3rd, so the earlier the better the respond. Columbia however did not get back to me as yet and I will not be waiting. Fordham just open the application late September and said that the application is due Oct 3rd early admission.
