NicholasNY Posted October 14, 2014 Share Posted October 14, 2014 Hello, I am just stating my education in Archaeology/Anthropology, and am currently attending a local Archaeology field school where I will earn an advanced certificate in Archaeology. I will also be taking a 6 week field school this summer at The University at Albany in Archaeology. I am looking for a credible online degree in Anthropology and am constantly being drawn to Colorado State University Online Plus Program (Bachelors Degree). This program is new, and may only be two years or so old. I am looking for some opinions on wheather or not it is a good decision to join, and if there are any other online degrees that are affordable and look nice on the resume. NoSleepTilBreuckelen Posted October 26, 2014 Share Posted October 26, 2014 (edited) You mentioned 'transferring credits' - does this mean you would want to start your BA in an online setting and then do the rest in-residence at a university? I don't know too much about your situation, but you might want to also consider starting your degree at a 2-year college near you and then transfer those credits to finish your BA at a 4-year college or university. I know several people who've done that with anthropology BA degrees. Just wanted to throw another option out there!
