Short on Time; Okay to Take Class Pass Fail?

I'm a senior applying to masters programs in education. I'm currently taking five classes (double major), work a part time job, and have a research position on campus. I am also scheduled to work a winter internship. It would also be nice to maintain my GPA, which I somehow managed to keep at 4.0 so far.

So my question is this: if I take one of my classes this fall quarter pass/fail, will admissions and scholarship committees even see it? My most important application is due early December. Fall grades will not be out. Will they ask me for transcripts later?

I need to start applying for internships. Plus having more time to work on graduate school applications would be helpful.

Selection committees won't see the grade right now, if you submit a transcript before the Fall grades are out. Schools (but perhaps not scholarships) will probably want a transcript when you graduate to prove you've been awarded your degree. Either way, this one P/F grade on your otherwise perfect 4.0 transcript won't affect your application one way or the other. You don't need to be worried about your grades.

A similar question to this. I have a 3.64 GPA, and might get a C or 2 in major classes. Would grad schools possibly rescind their offer down the line, for admissions or fellowships? And would a C be seen differently as a P?
