Applying to PhD of same MA /school I finished?

If one finishes an MA from a certain program and couple of yeas later apply to the PhD of that same program and school, would they need take the same courses again? At the time of the MA both PhD and

MA students were taking exact same courses but f course professor might grade each a bit differently.
