Good GMAT test prep

I think the most important step in looking for a course is assessing your needs by taking a practice test.  You can get two free from GMAC when you download their free GMATPrep software.  From there, you can figure out how close you are to your goal score and what your weaknesses are.  For example, if you are reaching your goal score in verbal and just need help with quant, you may want to get a on demand course that allows you just to purchase the quant section.  If your weaknesses are more evenly distributed and you thrive in a classroom setting, you may want to get a whole classroom course.

Hope this helps!

Donald,

I had a good experience on my SAT Test Prep from ClarityEd. I found that learning from highly qualified teacher to be of real help, as the teacher can address all your weak points. Now I am working, but pretty soon I will be applying for my MBA and I will surely go back to ClarityEd for their GMAT Test Prep.

Selecting a GMAT prep course took me around 3 months of both research and saving. My budget was 1K and that afforded me Veritas Prep's on-demand course which is 12 video lessons (each of roughly 5 subcategories), 8 books (?), 5 CAT practice tests, and like 1K + questions. It was $950. Started last week. Requires self-discipline for sure.
