EverythingIsMaterials Posted January 31, 2015 Share Posted January 31, 2015 (edited) I got an email on 29 January with the following text: "It is our great pleasure to inform you that you have been admitted to the Ph.D. program in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering beginning Autumn Quarter 2015-16. Congratulations! All offers of admission are contingent on the verification of the fulfillment of admission requirements by Stanford Office of Graduate Admissions." It goes on to talk about the visitation days which are 26-28 February (which is the same days as Georgia Tech!!!). There is no mention of funding or a deadline to accept or decline the offer. I am assuming that they are still in the process. The Material Science and Engineering department, however, has already sent out their admission letters But there is only three posts of Stanford MSE PhD on the result research, I assume (hopefully) there will be more next week.
