Brooklyn CUNY interview

Recommended Posts

Hi - my stats are: undergrad gpa: 3.4 (12 years ago), post bacc gpa: 3.8.  gre: v: 160, Q: 144, AW: 4

The interview is next week.

In case anyone else is interested, I just searched the archive from last year and another poster who did the interview last year said there was a tour from faculty, an essay and a group discussion moderated by a faculty member.

Hi,

I just heard I have an interview at Brooklyn College, CUNY next week.  Anyone interviewed here before?  any insight about what to expect?

Thanks!

Congrats! I hope you get accepted. Brooklyn College is a great school. I took two classes as a non matriculated grad student there.

if you get accepted, be prepared to WORK!

How did you like the classes you took? Did you find that the grad students at Brooklyn had a harder work load than other schools? Can anyone take grad classes as a non-matric grad student? Thanks!

The new grad deputy no longer allows students to take grad classes on a non matric basis.

I was able to take two classes under the former grad deputy of the program.

I'm not sure of other schools but Brooklyn students work hard and have busy schedule.

I loved the classes and the school!
