MadHops Posted March 5, 2015 Share Posted March 5, 2015 I recently got accepted to both Medill and Mizzou for their masters' programs. I've always wanted to go to Northwestern, but I'm mainly interested in investigative/data journalism, and I know Mizzou has a great program for that. However, I feel like Northwestern has the better overall reputation and connecions, not to mention that it's in Chicago as opposed to Columbia, MO. Also you have to consider what your future career goals are when choosing - maybe one of the programs is better primed to help you in your future path.
