Im super excited and anxious over this week. Do you realize this is almost it? No more waiting or suffering? There have been several students from Harris that have shared their experience and their views tend more to the negative side. Some of them have even described Harris as a milk cow for Chicago. I've heard some pretty negative things from current students as well. Very concerning. Initially this program was my second choice program behind only Berkeley Goldman. I am a UChicago alum of the College, and just received an email from UChicago IT Services stating that I will "remain a part of the UChicago community," that they have cancelled the closure process (which I thought happened 3 years ago), and "restoration of your normal access to services...should be complete within one day." Perhaps I've been admitted and they sent that information to IT before sending out my email? I guess we'll see. Could just be overly optimistic. A weird mixture of happy and disappointed.Interesting: I have a little more on offer from Duke than you, but both you and I got in to Chicago with the $11,500 while naso was admitted sans aid (sorry nasso, wanna trade for your Cal package?!), but *did* get in to Goldman with aid. I'll definitely have to find alternate sources of funding to lighten the amount of debt, but I'm super excited and will likely be accepting.
