GW MA in Anthropology?

I also was accepted to this program with a concentration in International Development. Also have not yet heard about funding.

I'm an undergrad at American U, so I can tell you about the school itself and pricing. GW is a very expensive school, around 1,500 per credit. The area it is located in is Foggy Bottom, which is also very expensive for housing. If you were to go, it'd be smart to live in Northern Virginia on the blue/orange line. D.C. is a pretty expensive city, but you can get by. Most people live with multiple roommates, either in a 2 bedroom apt or in a townhouse. The Metro can be pricy depending where you are in relation to the school, but buses are pretty cheap and allow for free bus to bus transfer. I can pay my groceries for about 40-50 dollars every two, three weeks at Giant, and there are cheaper grocery stores around. Again, how much the cost of living in D.C. will be based off of where you live.

Thanks for all this info. Would you happen to know what is the general reputation of the Anthropology department at GWU?
