Hi, guys, could you please help me. My poi for summer research sent me a request to fulfil some sections more for the grant. One of them is: Justification for student funding.” – this would cover how this will help you in your intended future career. Guys, please help me. I'm not a native speaker, this is society grant, very important for me, and I have no idea how to write it professionally and elegantly.

I don't think anyone will be able to help with such little information - perhaps you can write something to post here and then I'm sure people will be happy to critique and help you polish it. When you talk about justifications, you can look at things like how this will help you in the future, what this money will allow you to do that you wouldn't be able to do otherwise, how you intend to contribute to the profession both with this research and with research this funding will enable you to do in the future (does it prepare you for future work in your field), etc. Now, I'm not in your field, so those are just some broad questions you should probably seek to answer.

We can't do this for you. You need to at least make the effort to write a draft. Start by putting together the list the reasons why you want the money. What are your long-term career goals? If this is for an MA, would you go for a PhD? If it's a PhD, do you want to go into industry or academia? How will this grant help you take a step in a direction that will allow you to achieve these goals? Does it contribute to a bigger question that you are interested in asking? Don't worry about prose yet, just identify the points you'd like to make. Once you have the points, you can organize them in a logical way and at that point it'd be easier to come up with a draft that you could send your PI.

I would also suggest writing back to your PI and asking if s/he has any previous successful grants s/he could share with you so you get a better idea of how to write yours. Ask for advice on what should be in your application. These are fair questions that s/he should help you with, as your advisor.

See this thing is very rhetoric. It is like, I am motivated and passion driven student,it will help in pursuing my dream career, learning new techniques and strengthen skills. But I think it is what all people write and even for me it sounds like blah blah blah

OK, now spell this out. What is that career, specifically? What are the new techniques you'll learn? Why are they important/useful? What skills will you strengthen? How will the grant allow that to happen? Why are these stills important/useful? How will all of this lead to you being able to pursue your desired career? It's the details that tell your application apart from the other ones.

So you are asking internet strangers who don't even know what field you are in to write a section of a grant application for an unknown project for you? And you don't think this request is going just a bit over the top? We can give you pointers, but you are asking us to straight up do your work for you, and you're not even helping with the details. I think this is as far as I can go trying to help you. You need to talk to your advisor.

I'm sorry mate. For last six hours I ve been going trough all his past papers to assume what methodology he uses. He is very famous, very respected professor, worked for ivy,it is almost a miracle that he agreed without knowing me to take me for studentship, and I don't want to bother him too much, especially that he is a very busy man.it is why he asked to fulfil as much application as I could, his sections in application et cetera.I am really stressed about it,as from that my future really depends.I am now off from Uni, have been seriously ill,had a major surgery and he agreed without talking and seeing me in person, but just from some YouTube videos to apply to his society for funding for me.

The draft.

This research grant would allow me to gain essential experience in a lab setting among magnificent faculty, necessary to pursue future career in academia. This experience will teach me various scientific techniques in practice such as immunochemistry, western blotting, data collection and analysis, which will be substantially benefiting me in my future research career.
