MarionTanisdotCom Posted January 29, 2016 Share Posted January 29, 2016 I heard back from these fine folks on the 1/27th, my application was turned in 12/1st. Is it me, or is this a bit peculiar? I applied to the PhD program and was admitted to the Masters, on my application I remember confirming that I would not attend without funding. Do you think this still applies for the Master's program admittance? I'm assuming my lower GPA is what kept me out of the doctoral (2.55). So, has anyone else heard back yet? I was a bit shocked that they accepted me with such a low overall GPA, my upper level was around 3.1 but I had some W's too. That said, my statement and engagement with academic research is pretty great. I presented work at 4 conferences and won an award all within the past year etc. GRE was average at 153q/160v/4.5. This could also serve as a great example of a holistic approach to the application at this institution. Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has heard back from UW Comm, NYU MCC, or UT Ad, and what your app looked like. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
