I think the NYU office has taken an impromptu vacation or they really want to make those of us on this board squirm. Whenever you receive the Welcome from the Dean email, you should get an acceptance/rejection letter around a week after that. My letter from the dean came on the 28th, I was accepted the 4th. I received the "Welcome from the Dean at NYU" email on the last day of January and still nothing. I am expecting some news by the end of this week. I'm curious about something. Do they send out rejection letters via email as well? I remembered reading some schools send out acceptances via email and rejections via snail mail. Luckily I looked at them and I had an email with the subject "Your decision letter." I guess I was right about getting it when we least expect it.
