Statement for scholarship?

I'm filling out a scholarship app, and it's asking for a personal statement (ie educational background, professional goals.) Is this something I can submit my admissions statement of purpose to, or do I need to draft a new statement? (My current statement has both of those aspects included in it) Also, they're asking for transcripts, but I have already sent those to the grad school. Do I need to send them again for the scholarship?

You should contact them and ask if you need to submit transcripts again. Personally, I'd revise the statement at least slightly to reflect any of the values they're looking for in a scholarship applicant. Usually scholarships have specific criteria they seek in applicants so you should make sure your statement addresses those. Good luck!
