CanadianBanjo
Hi all, I am applying for a PhD position in Stanford Energy Resources Engineering, and I have two GRE score sets to choose from for my application: (1) Quant 162 / Verbal 157 / AW 5 (2) Quant 162 / Verbal 165 / AW 4.5 Its basically a trade off of verbal versus AW. Note that the average score percentile is higher for (2) Maybe I should be applying for a program in the humanities ... :/ I have a high GPA from my undergrad and masters that I hope can buffer a lowish quant score. Let me know what you guys think!
Neuronophil
For engineering I think the ranking of importance is Q > V > AW. Given that your Q is the same, and your V is much better in the second one while your AW in your first choice is just a bit higher, I'd choose the second one to report. abcde12345
Wackstrom
The second one for sure. Most programs weigh AW the least, so a 0.5 difference won't matter. abcde12345
