Purdue CS PhD Status

Hi, all! I noticed some lucky guys received the offers (CS Ph.D.) from Purdue. Does anyone know whether they will continue to send the offer or not?

I was interviewed at the end of January, but there is still no further notifications. Feeling nervous about that. If there is no email this week, will it be a silent rejection.....?

Is CS @ Purdue that good? Honestly I'm one who received an offer but wasn't giving it much attention until you referred accepted students as lucky.

You must be very excellent!

Ah, the opinion varies person to person. For me, CS @ Purdue is a good place

I'm honestly not excellent. Got rejected to many places, such as Stanford, Oxford, UW, Berkeley, etc.

Do you know how Purdue compares to other programs? Like NYU, Columbia, TTIC and Cornell? I'm pretty lost regarding decisions.

In my opinion, Cornell is the best among your list. But I have not investigated TTIC and NYU before. Thus, I cannot give you an exact answer.
