I am trying to weigh my options for the *possibility* of me having to choose between these two schools for my MFA in painting and was wondering if anyone has any outside input? Of course financial aid will help with the decision, or if I even get into both (ha!)- but I haven't been able to visit either campus or see either's studios etc... meghanmetier Posted March 12, 2017 Share Posted March 12, 2017 I got into Pratt, I don't know too much about SVA but Pratt does have a lot of recent alumni that are showing their work quite frequently and honestly all of their student work looks really strong. I don't know much about SVA, but the fact that it's a for-profit school (tho what school isn't nowadays ugh) just wouldn't make me want to go there at all.
