hopefulgradapp
Hello, I'm a rising senior studying Math and Economics at a not-highly-ranked state school. I'm thinking of applying to Berkeley's MA Statistics program. What I am worried is that I had an A- in Probability 1, but I got straight A's in other math classes such as Multivariable Calculus, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Discrete, Differential Equation. Thus, given the my school's ranking and an A- in a core class like Probability, would it hurt my chance at Berkeley? abstract_art
No, an A- won't hurt your chance for a masters program (or PhD program) given A's in all of your other math classes
