  1. SIE at UA is a good program. Good professors too. They are really friendly and have experience in the industry.
  2. The people of the US consulate in Hong Kong are very friendly. Chit-chat with me during that 30s(or less) interview.
  3. A lot of schools don't take intl student because they cannot find research funding for you that you can do. A lot of funding resources in aero area are gov related and classified. They allow only U S citizen to enter and look into those labs. Please believe me. I have been thru all that. My undergrad is in aerospace engineering. Applied master in aerospace, and got accepted. However, I got no funding due to "THAT" reason. I really recommend international students to do something else. Civil or mechanical engineering.
  4. They don't take intl student because they cannot find research funding for you that you can do. A lot of funding resources in aero area are gov related and classified. They even only allow US citizen to enter and look into those labs (windows are covered BLACK).
  5. CE is super competitive this year due to the economy. Rejected by one school
  6. Anyone send a copy of EIT certificate for application?
  7. Depends on school and department.... A lot of schools take the test as "something you need to do for application". You just need to take it and it does not hurt you if you do poorly. If a school consider it, it will tell you that you need to have a "competitive GRE score". Read carefully when you apply. Good GRE score will NOT guaranteed you a certificate of admission. You should show other stuff that will impress the committees. For engineering students, show them your EIT cert. (if you have one). It will tell them you have the basic knowledge as an engineer. Also, provide them your resume to show them what you have done after undergrad. Good luck! GRE: V: 320, Q 760 Applied:1.5 (1 school, 2 programs) Accepted: 1 Rejected: 1
