  1. I haven't received my email yet. Anyone else in the same boat?
  2. This is not true, geography and sociology went out today. http://academicjobs.wikia.com/wiki/Dissertation_Fellowships_2015-2016?diff=417701&oldid=prev
  3. Anyone is the biological sciences hear back yet?
  4. Rejected. Good luck to everyone else and congrats to those who received it!
  5. Does anyone mind sharing their discipline and the time they received the email.
  6. Did anyone's status change in the last two days? Mine changed to match two days ago.
  7. Did anyone's employer status recently change to "released"?
  8. From the National GEM consortium: "With regard to your HELD employer status, GEM Employers are actively reaching out to Completed 2015 GEM applicants right now. Please make sure your voicemail is updated with a professional outgoing message. Please respond within 24 hours to any requests for an interview or other GEM Employer inquiries. You will see your homepage Employer status change from unmatched, to matched, to released as your application is previewed by several Employers. Do not be concerned with this status."
  9. Yes, released means you are back in the pool. What is the difference between "held" and "matched". I imagine they both mean a employer is reviewing an application.
  10. What was your "employee status" before you were sponsored? (i.e. matched, held, released)?
  11. From what I got from last year, "HELD" is a good thing. Students are usually interviewed after they are "HELD".
  12. I applied. My status went from "matched" to "held". From previous years discussion. This means my application is "in review" by a company. Anyone else?
  13. I am really considering it. I think the MCB program is really strong. Although Yale is giving me a better stipend.
