Hi Thank you so much for replying. This question from Stanford Biosciences application, and I did not see it when I started my app almost a month ago. The problem with Stanford that they never answer emails, I emailed them many times regarding to different issues in the admission process and I have never received a response. Hello While I was surfing I found this statement in some lab's official websites, We are currently seeking graduate students, Please contact Dr. X, or we are looking for a motivated grad student to work on X project, and the research interests of the PI matche mine, though I am not applying till next fall should I contact him/ her now? Hello I often read that it is better to apply as early as possible, why is that if the adcom will review my app after deadline? or not! When do exactly the review process begin? as soon as the app's submission or short after the deadline? And does it make any difference if I submit early Sep or just before the deadline? Hello, For the first time ever I heard about something called writing sample through this forum, I always check a university's website for the requirement for PhD admission and never noticed any mention of it, is it a requirement or supplemental material and what should you write about in writing sample and finally what is the difference between it and SOP?
