Hey y'all... I just received the call from Barry Goldman-Hall congratulating me on my admission. I can't believe it! Wow. I'm still processing. I'm on the wait list for UC Berkeley, so nothing is set in stone yet, but feeling very relieved to know I will be starting graduate school in the Fall no matter what. I wasn't able to pick up the phone as I'm at work, so wasn't able to get any more info for you guys. Just know that if you're still waiting there is still hope! Also, it still says "referred to grad department" in mySJSU, so apparently obsessively checking in was pointless (which I knew, but couldn't help myself).

Hi Jazziegirl! I haven't heard anything yet, and it's driving me crazzzzy. But, like I said in a previous post, my friend who got in last year didn't hear until April 16th, so I don't think it's uncommon or a bad sign that we haven't! Sending you patience. Not that I have any!

@dreet51 Thanks for that! I've also applied to SJSU, which is half the cost, and they'll let me know sometime or other. Soooo... I'm still tentatively hopeful. It would be pretty luxurious to have options! @Manhattan I haven't heard of anyone being accepted yet, just rejected and wait listed. So maybe not having heard is a good thing?! Anyway, I got my wait list email at 12:55. Though I bet it varies quite a bit.

Just got wait-listed from Berkeley for the Direct Practice in Health Services concentration. So... the wait continues!

Any progress is nice to see Can I ask what three to do items you see? I only have one: Student Certification. I already submitted FAFSA, so maybe that's one of your other to do list items?

This is my second time applying for the Direct Service in Health Concentration at Berkeley. I got notified I was on the wait list on March 11th last year, so I'm hoping they will be sending out notifications in about a week and a half. The wait is BRUTAL.

Hi Maverick! I'm a fellow SJSU MSW 2014 applicant. A friend of mine applied last year and got in, and told me she heard on April 16th. Soooo... I guess we're in for a long wait. Did you apply anywhere else?
