Yeah... got the Brown rejection letter too... and I felt this "prompt" was indeed our $75 donation to fund the program

So glad to see the forum is alive and kicking right now. I applied to Yale, Brown, NYU and Juilliard this year. Haven't heard from any... but a good friend of mine has received a finalist interview at both Yale and UCSD Acting Programs. So should be any day now for the writing programs. Break a leg everybody. My submission this year is night and day to the one I sent in last year so who knows what that'll do for my chances. You know, since these programs get what? 3 billion plays a year right? gah! Did anyone apply to FringeNYC or Sam French's Off Off this year?

Been looking recently at which places I want to re-apply and newly apply to. This is the first I heard Boston U. isn't accepting any apps this year. I'm looking at mostly all Northeastern schools... New York, CT, Mass, Rhode Island area. Does anyone know the schools that have the best financial package? I believe Yale and Brown do, but not sure of many of the others. Anyone with any insight on Columbia, New School, Tisch, Brooklyn, Hunter, Pace and Rutgers? Break a leg to everyone this go around

I applied to Temple. I'm at the interview stage. Anyone know anything about that program?

I emailed Juilliard about the play labs... and they gave me a lengthy reply that gave me the following info. 1. No play labs at this time. 2. Over 300 submissions this year. 3. Still reading first round plays. 4. Won't be hearing from then til at least the end of March. 5. Thanks for submitting. Hope this info helps anyone who Juilliarded this year. And if your stomach is churning about it... they want to make a churn just a while longer. Break a leg to all

You are absolutely right! And lets hope a fresh Juilliard batch is being read for anyone here who applied.

This forum is so depressing. I'm glad to find out about Yale now rather than whenever they decide to destroy the hopes and dreams of the other 200 applicants You guys are awesome. Juilliard in my experience sends out emails about the Labs right around now.
