  1. Hello, I work as a network engineer and I have a BS in physics that I got back in 2008. My original plan was to double-major in physics and EE but life happened after I graduated and I got some good opportunities and I was pulled into the lucrative IT world. I enjoy what I do, but I would like to get my masters in EE. I see many programs have "computer networks" as one of their focus in their graduate program. I was wondering if I can leverage my experience working with complex networks and networking products to my advantage? I know that graduate research in computer networks will be a little different than what I might be doing now day-to-day configuring Cisco routers and switches, but I am guessing some of my experience should intersect/come in handy for such a focus? Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions? Thank you!
