Well, at least I didn't have to wait much longer. Evidently there was a problem with their electronic system - I was rejected weeks ago and never notified.

Hello all - Does anyone know anything about where Columbia is at with decisions right now? I had checked with GSAS a month ago, and they had informed me that decisions were expected mid-March, and I still haven't heard anything yet. My application management page still shows my app status as "Submitted". According to data posted the last couple of years, it seems that Columbia has tended to release final decisions for the PhD program around the equivalent of late last week. Are they simply taking longer than usual this year, or do you all think that if I haven't heard from them by now it is likely a sign that my app has been routed to their MA program purgatory? Thanks - it's beginning to frustrate me, in that I can't respond to acceptances at other schools until I know what Columbia is doing...
