Hello guys, I am a chemistry graduate willing to get into PhD colleges in US. I almost got into a good ranked PhD biology but got denied (even after the recruitment invite!!). Now the rest of the colleges I applied are in bioengineering. So I think chances of getting in those are slim. My work permit expires next jan. So, I need to get into a college by Jan. Has any one got any idea on what I could do? Any clues on easily accepting Universities during spring? I guess , Masters could be an option but is dat possible financially? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, Has anyone here applied to Biomedical Science PHD and been accepted? If so, how is the funding situation like? When I emailed them about my interest, they told me that the students do not get fundings prior to the start of the school!?! Any clues guys?
