Hi, I will be applying this fall for graduate study in International development. Based on the research that I have done on this forum, SAIS IDEV seems command a good reputation. Though I have some questions regarding the program: 1. Why is the program capped at 40-50 students? (Unlike other concentrations at SAIS) 2. Does one get a leg up in finding a job in development consulting, WB, IFC, if you are from the IDEV concentration? thanks in advance.

Hi, Congrats to all who got in at their choice of schools. I will be applying this fall to international development programs. I was wondering how selective is the admission for MA IDEV at SAIS compared to MPP at MSPP-Georgetown. Also, what is the class size of the MA IDEV program at the DC campus. thanks in advance
