  1. @blooscorn yeah I guess it's something else. I'm international and I'm waiting for the merit scholarship. @2012latam yep, I guess they are finalising until the end of this week or next. Hope to hear from them soon haha
  2. Has anybody heard from UCSD about the fellowship? I got the official admission letter around late February and they said they'll let me know about the fellowship in March, but haven't heard of it yet. I'm waiting to see and decide on which school to go!
  3. I was early admit. I received the exact same email on Jan 30th and after about 3 weeks I got official admission letter from Graduate Admission Committee. And they said the information on funding will be released in March.
  4. Thank you Cup o' Joe! I just checked with the school admission and it was the name matching problem too. My first name was spelled differently. It feels like pain removed now haha.
  5. Hi, I heard that GRE scores usually arrive within a few days I report. It's been three weeks since I reported, but one of the school has not received it yet. (Five other schools did) I was wondering if anyone had this kind of problem... Thank you!
  6. I am currently in the process of application to SIPA. Two of my recommenders have completed the electronic recommendation process, but one of my professor cannot receive the invitation letter from SIPA. I have sent him reminders several times but he says he has not got it. (He has completed recommendation for other programs I'm applying to, but it's just SIPA program that he did not get it.) Has anyone had same kind of problem? Is there any way that I can solve this problem? Thanks!
  7. Currently I am living in Asia, and cannot go into the SIPA application webpage. I've been resuming since last month. Does anyone else have such problem as well?
  8. Hi folks I'm struggling with word limits in essays. Especially SIPA has 400, 200, 200 word limits for each essay but it is so hard to shorten down to that length... It feels like either I have to exclude many things that I wanted to express, or I have to compress so many details to make it abstract. Anyone sharing the same problems? How can I solve this? Thanks!
  9. Just a quick question I found while I was applying for IR schools such as SIPA, UCSD etc. They all require to give the list of other schools that I'm applying to. Does anyone have any idea on the purpose of this question? Would it be more beneficial for me to write this down? Thanks!
  10. I'm a non-US student who is in her senior year of undergraduate. I would like to know if it is suitable for undergraduate to apply for masters programs such as SIPA or SAIS without full-time work experience. I have some internship and research experience, and I am going to pursue my career about the same area that I have interned and researched. But it seems like these programs are more focused on people who have 4-5 years of professional experience after masters. Do any of any people who are in SIPA or SAIS (or similar international studies programs) have any idea on this? Thank you =)
