I got it too! Yay!

I just hope they don't send the very misleading email I got last year: "We are pleased to inform you that your application is still being considered for an award...". When I saw the beginning of the email and thought I got it, and then like weeks later I got the rejection. It was very misleading. I got HM for NSF, but I think my research aligns more with the DOD goals, so hopefully NDSEG will work out.

Honorable Mention with VG/G, E/E, VG/E It was my last time to apply, but I think I'm more competitive for NDSEG anyway (my research seems more aligned with what they like). Good job everyone!

Another last minute question (as we all scramble to make our applications as good as we can), if I am presenting at a conference in January, can I put that on my application in the education/work experience section? I assume I can because it's been accepted, and just put the date as in the future. Anyone have experience with this?

Do you guys think there is any problem having a LOR from someone at another government agency (i.e. NASA, DOD, etc.)? One of my references is at another agency and I'm not sure if NSF will look at that and wonder why they aren't funding me. Anyone have any experience with this?

I also applied Aero/Astro and got the mysterious waiting email but nothing else yet.

Anyone know what it means when you only get reviewer comments from 2 people? Is that a problem or like some system where you were cut before getting to the third. Because I got: VG/E, VG/VG and then nothing from the third...
