  1. Hey guys, I was just wondering if you any of you have applied to JSPS fellowship. I just submitted my application to JSPS and talking to someone who had been awarded the fellowship would be nice. Thanks.
  2. I officially heard back from NSF that my application was approved. I just wanted to let you guys know. Goodluck everyone!
  3. Thanks again! My collaborator first emailed saying everything looks good but then I had to plan the trip soon as I'm leaving the country for 3 months for field research. So, I emailed the contact person and he said its confirmed and I can start planning for the trip. I'll start August 16.
  4. Thank you. I applied to japan.
  5. I heard back from NSF contact person saying that I will be receiving an award person but I won't be getting an official award letter until mid May.
  6. I mean, not the greatest. I kind of feel bad seeing people with 4.0 not getting it!
  7. Got it! Undergrad first time applied! E/E E/E VD/E. No publications, low GPA (3.7). Reviewers talked about how my personal experience has influenced my field of choice and how recommendations, proposal and my field of choice all synced. Undergrad research for 3 years. Honestly I was not expecting it!
  8. Just been awarded NSF GRFP. I'm still an undergrad and am trying to find the best institute for me. I have visited both campus and I really liked it a lot. I applied for Masters in Environmental Engineering in both the schools and so for NSF. After getting NSF both schools have offered me P.hD. and are pushing me to get it. I'm so confused and lost right now! Thanks in advance!
