I came down to these two programs but have such hard time deciding because they are both really strong programs and both offer pretty good scholarship. I don't have any preference between film and theatre but I do appreciate a wide variety of opportunities and exposure to different design areas. It seems like Northwestern focuses only on the theatre part of performance arts design, but because it focuses heavily on it, they do pretty good job nurturing theatre designers. If anyone can provide their opinion about the two programs and what they know about the alums, that would help me a great deal. Thanks!

I only appled to Yale for TD&P, had interview in March, and still waiting for decision. Did you hear back from any yet?

I was also waiting to hear from two remainng ones so I emailed both of them couple weeks back. One sent me an unofficial rejection through email right away and the other one just told me to wait more. Still, I havent received official rejection from neither. I guess some schools just dont send out rejection letters right away and some just like to take their own sweet time ..

I had a three-hour interview at Yale about 3.5 wks ago, from which I got a feeling that they were going to reject me. But I still have not received any email/mail although I have contacted and received responses from them several times for other matters. I am confused as to whether or not I was not reading the sign correctly at the interview because of the delay in admissions decision. From the interview I was quite sure that they were going to send me rejection for lack of experience in the field. Did anyone else have similar interview / delayed decision? This is pretty much the last school I am waiting on and I feel like I'm just put on hold ... and I feel like I can't move on with applying to other internships/etc until I hear the decision. Any thoughts/advices will be much appreciated.
