  1. Alright Fletcher it is! See you guys there in the Fall!
  2. 7000/semester here too. Totally declining so I hope some of you out there get this.
  3. Yah I applied for Wolcott too. Also, I called them yesterday at 4pm and they said funding decisions will be released within 1-2 days. I asked them if it would be by the end of business day today but she said she wasn't sure. So we might have to wait till Saturday or even Monday since she might have meant business days.
  4. I don't know why but I thought that Elliott was somewhat generous with their funding. Lol @ heavy metal football. It worked in Dortmund but I don't think Liverpool has the type of players for Klopp's style of football. And it's not like they're doing much better in the league than last year anyway. But he's an amusing guy to watch nonetheless. Too bad he'll never dive like LVG
  5. CakeTea, you are right - it's all about the money for me. And I'm at work so gonna be missing the first half But I don't really see us winning as it'll be really tough to come back from 2-0 down. And it's not like we scored a lot of goals or played an attacking game this season anyway...so low expectations!
  6. Yea the Director of the International Development Studies Program where I applied emailed me today and gave reasons as to why I should attend GWU. But it doesn't really matter since I haven't heard anything regarding funding....
  7. Yea I feel like they came out mid-March last year.
  8. Ok so I emailed SAIS asking them if there's any potential way I could be placed on a waitlist for funding and this is what they wrote. I'm out of of the running for SAIS but maybe it'll help current or future people who are considering SAIS. Good luck! Congratulations on your admission to SAIS! Your application was quite competitive. However, funding limitations prevent us from providing fellowship awards to all of our admitted students. This year, we awarded approximately 30% of the incoming class with fellowship assistance. Although we would like to provide assistance to every admitted student, our funds are limited. We use a multiplier to award aid expecting that some students will decline our offer of admission so we do not have a second round of first-year fellowship awards. As a result, all fellowship decisions are final. Students are eligible to apply for additional fellowships in their second year however. The Financial Aid Committee looks at first year academic performance and aims to award 50-60% of second year students with fellowship assistance. Should you have any questions about the financial aid process or if you would like to meet with a SAIS Financial Aid representative, please let us know. We would be more than happy to meet with you.
  9. Didn't apply but would be interested in knowing how much funding people are receiving. Good luck y'all!
  10. Same. Applied for Idev but waiting on funding.
  11. Admitted but nothing about funding. Anyone know when that will go out?
  12. Wow no funding at all. Sorry but no degree is worth 140k nowadays. Thanks SAIS but I'll pass. What a waste of time...
  13. Really hoping that they'll send that out soon. I don't wanna open my financial aid email in the bus on the way back from work.
  14. Yah I applied for the Priscilla Mason Fellowship. But I'm sure the competition for it is going to be extremely fierce so I have really low expectations about it.
