Christopher Roy can be added to the list (although he's probably nearing retirement). He's at the University of Iowa. Iowa also hosts the Stanley Collection.
  2. I do not think that what "type" of a degree typically matters. A lot of people go to graduate school and pursue a different field of study from their undergrad. I too ended up having to finish my degree via distance education and had no trouble applying and being accepted into programs. It's still a B* degree, after all. As long as the other parts of your application are good (GRE, SOP, LOR), I cannot foresee why you couldn't get into a graduate program.
  3. Oregon State University has an online B.A./B.S. in Anthropology. I'd stay with public Universities rather than private or for-profits.
  4. Greetings Gradcafe, Here is a terse version of my background: I was a non-traditional student who graduated from a community college and decided later on to pursue a bachelor's degree. My B* level degree ended up being a BAS (bachelor of applied science). It has been a few years now since I have graduated, but I am sure now that I would like to go onwards and pursue a master's level degree. Can anyone see this causing any problems in applying to different graduate programs? I have a good GPA (3.83) with a great LoR writers lined up (both academic and professional). Should I go ahead and take the plunge?
