Well, I am not really sure but I think it has been given the frequency of communications from the department post 15th April. I understand waiting can be hard. Try writing to the DGPs or any senior authority. Good Luck!
Hey everyone! I needed kind of an opinion on which University is better for a PhD in Statistics: NCSU or UIUC. I have got an admit from both with full funding. I am an international student and all my reasoning is localised to information on the websites for comparison. Any help on this is appreciated!
I am an Indian student with a 317 in GRE ( 153 V, 164 Q) and 102 in TOEFL. I have done engineering in electronics and communication fron a decent college in India. I have a gpa around 3. Please suggest univesities other than Cincinnati, Tamu, nyu pol, ucsb
Thanks for the advice about the universities.
I have an undergraduate GPA of 8.74/10 and a Gold Medal for University topper in statistics with Economics and Mathematics as the subsidiary subjects.
Plus I have a Bachelor's Thesis and a research paper.
I do not have any kind of work experience.
Does all this contribute?
I wish to apply for PHD in Statistics in Fall 15. I have a 322 in GRE ( 166 Q, 156 V) and 116 in TOEFL. What are my chances to get through?
Since I have an interest in Financial Statistics, what universities should I apply to.
