  1. I'm 80% sure I will be accepting my offer to St. Ambrose. I had to interview remotely, but I really liked the faculty I interviewed with. Their program website makes it seem like the department is supportive and invested in their students, and I got that vibe during the interview too, which is a really important quality for me when it comes to grad programs. Davenport also seems like a nice area (speaking only from looking at things online, I've never been) Most of the programs I applied to are too far away to visit easily, and I'm afraid of choosing somewhere that turns out to not be a good fit. At least with St. Ambrose, I know I like some of the faculty. And the second year can be completed from almost anywhere, so if I completely hate the area, I could theoretically move somewhere else. The only things holding me back from being fully committed is the cost of the program and the distance from home.
  2. I can't say with any certainty, but it may not mean a rejection. The interview e-mail said to let them know if we are declining the interview so that our interview spot can be given to a waiting applicant. I know I won't be able to travel to Michigan on the interview date, so there is a chance that once people decline the interview they will send out more invitations.
  3. I'm working on my applications for grad school and am wondering what the proper to calculate my major gpa + last 60 credit gpa is. My first bachelor's is in a different field, and I am currently working on my second bachelor's in communication disorders. When schools are asking for major gpa, do they want the gpa for my comd classes, or the major classes from my first degree? And for last 60 credits, do I include the credits from my second bachelor's, or only the last 60 credits from my first degree? Thanks for any help you guys can offer.
