i really dont think it can actually be tomorrow because they're waiting for responses so they know where their funding is going. like, if everyone's deadline is the 15th, it doesnt make sense. i dont know/care anymore. ok i care but i definitely dont know.

Well im still waiting . Utah's site says they sent the notification on April 8 and I'm still sitting here. Guess tomorrow I might find out what I might be doing for the next 5-6 years. nbd.

I got into UNH only so far. I'm still waiting on Rutgers and Utah, but it's a weird situation because my POI at Utah was my adviser's adviser so the whole thing is like cloak and dagger. April 15 is looking more likely for the date.

No, I just did my random daily check and when I logged into Spire there was a blue "decision letter" under acknowledgement and status

All joking aside, just wanted to post that I was rejected from UMass. Saw the decision in the online portal. eta: I didnt have a POI and didn't contact anyone there, I just applied on a whim.

Stanford is a bad choice for geology. I'd reject that offer immediately and apply late to a 3rd tier school.

Yeah I am not assuming that I am on some admitted list and somehow haven't been told. I'm just like, don't send this unless people are accepted. All these instructions that are not applicable to me. The one school that wanted a handwritten letter of my BS degree GAVE me the BS degree so that was definitely annoying. As for the other school, I visited and interviewed there and they are still in deliberations. A number of people have told me I'm in, but they're still figuring out funding . Just aggravated because all these apps were in before the new year.

the many things boggling my mind about this whole process: - i got a postcard in the mail from Utah telling me my financial aid information was incomplete (which it definitely isn't, they must want something random). The card says as soon as I'm fully admitted to log on to the fin aid website to update my materials. Portal still says "in process." - i got an email from Rutgers fin aid last week asking for a hand written note (??) indicating the whether I would have my bachelor's degree by July 1, 2015. Portal still says "no decision." - my own POI asked me if I had heard anything from the Rutgers grad committee. - 2 weeks ago, a colleague from AMNH congratulated me on my acceptance to Rutgers. Portal still says "no decision." o_O

to the people who have received it before - does the email come before we are actually able to check the site? and is the email from grfp@nsf.gov?
