Wait till the deadline and take Texas or email florida so they can move their ass. I did that with Texas and they told me they would know a month from now which was around April. I had a fully funded offer from another school so I accepted and declined Texas. They seem they had other applicants they were interested in so I went with the other school.

I think your fine. You have tons of experience and that will have much more weight than a stupid test. Well I hope I get in a school. I did much worse than you did and not taking it again. Its very expensive.

I also did very bad on the GRE. I think its a factor of your application. If everything else is strong than they should over look a standardized test. Every school has certain criteria. I think this GRE is a big money maker and has nothing to do with education. It was horrible!! I studied for weeks and did not help at all. That math section was nonsense. I studied math so long ago. I think it is to help decide when they have 3 people with the same background. The GRE score will get funding something like that.

It depends on the program. Need to look at the department along with the graduate school. Most PhD have funding but depends on each school. How many student they accept each semester.
