What if they don't require a writing sample - but there is a place to upload one?

Hi, I'm applying to Evolutionary Biology programs. My senior honors thesis is relavant but it was never published. Should I attach the actual thesis to my application? Thanks.

Hi, I'm working on applying to the Biology PhD program at the University of Miami. I want to submit the contact information for my letter writers so that they can be sent links and instructions. I can't figure out where to enter this information. Does anyone know if the online application for the University of Miami must be complete before references can be listed? I haven't finish my statement of purpose or received my GRE scores yet so I can't finish the application, but I was hoping to give my letter writers a good amout of lead time. Thanks.
