  1. Hey bsharpe! I just messaged you asking where you decided but I guess I found my answer here. Lol. I've submitted an application for a studio apartment in the Central West End which is near WashU. I really like that area and I'm trying to be close to campus at least for the first year. How's apartment hunting going for you?
  2. Yay! Hopefully I see you there! I fell in love with WashU all over again this past weekend.
  3. I'll be messaging you soon! As soon as I get done with classes for the day. Thanks
  4. Accepted into MGG DBBS Program at WashU!! I am soooo excited!!!! This is the best feeling I've had thus far. I'll most likely be attending there. Time to let the other schools know.
  5. A lot..but not as much as usual. Only because I'm flying and I have to turn my phone on airplane mode..lol it was the first thins I did when I landed though!
  6. I think it's a fair question to ask though. They understand how stressful this entire process is so they should not feel "nagged" by you asking when you should expect to hear from them.
  7. I know at least for the Biology umbrella program they accept people periodically (not all at once). There are about 6 interview weekends for us so they want to give everyone a fair chance. I'm not sure how it works for English but maybe email somebody and ask.
  8. Thank you! And yes I did get an alternate interview. I ended up going between my two interviews, so I basically missed a full week of school between those three interviews. I didn't get to experience the whole interview weekend because of this. I wish I had but I still got to talk with some faculty I was very interested in.
  9. Just providing an update. I got through with my interview and even got an acceptance! Happy!!
  10. If you go for a Master's you can just make sure your GPA is really good. From what I've seen on this board a good Master's GPA trumps an average undergraduate GPA.
  11. Congrats! I also got my first acceptance from Dartmouth. I have one more interview and a few responses to await, but It feels good to know that I will be a graduate student come this Fall.
  12. I've been invited for a Molecular and Cell Biology Program at Dartmouth, as well as UNC BBSP. I'm not sure how Dartmouth sends invites but UNC seems to have been sending them in waves so if you haven't heard from them yet I don't think you should count yourself out.
