Ahhh this worries me. I still haven't heard a thing. Maybe they forgot about me? Haha. I still haven't gotten an email from them at all. It said we would get notified whether we were selected, alternate, or non-select. I'm kind of freaking out and just emailed the program director. Of course, he is out of office until Monday. The suspense is killing me. Why haven't I heard a thing?????

I'm glad I have you guys to freak out with about tomorrow! I am also glad that I applied At Large so I do not have to harass an advisor for further information, because if I had one, I most certainly would. Probably.

I am currently finishing up my second year with TFA. It has been the most challenging thing I have ever done, but it is so incredibly worthwhile. You have to really have a passion for teaching, or you won't last. There will be days when you want to bash your head into a wall, and then there will be days when you feel like you are really making a difference in the lives of your students. I'm hoping it will help set me apart on my ETA application
