  1. Thanks for your reply! I was very interested in what you had to say. I have also decided to attend and have already paid my deposit. So, I'm glad to hear that you had such a positive experience.
  2. Hey everyone! I was wondering if any of you attended SPEA's Experience Day last weekend? I could not attend due to a prior engagement. So, I am curious what went on or if it helped sell anyone on SPEA. If you attended, do you mind sharing some thoughts on the experience? Did you learn anything interesting about the program? ;
  3. I was very surprised honestly. They said that funding information would be annouced around mid-March and I did not think we would hear until after the FAFSA dealine at least. But I got an email not long before posting on here. I wouldn't freak out too much. I did turn in my FAFSA very early and it may be specific to degree (I was admitted for MPA/MSES). I don't think anybody should worry until after mid-March.
  4. For admitted applicants: Check your email! I received a merit aid offer today!
  5. If anyone is looking for a potential roommate in Bloomington IN next fall, go ahead and send me a PM. I am female and 24 years old. I would like to save some money by rooming with someone else.
  6. The SPEA website provides some of that information. In the application FAQs, it states "SPEA received over 500 applications for Fall 2014 admission. Our incoming Fall 2014 class is comprised of 185 students across our MPA, MSES, and dual MPA-MSES programs." And if you follow this link (http://www.indiana.edu/~spea/prospective_students/masters/prospective_students/student_body_profile/index.shtml), it gives student demographics including the number of MPA/MSES students. I was accepted into the MPA/MSES program and am 95% sure I will be attending in the fall. I'm just waiting for funding information right now. I am a domestic applicant and recieved my accepting about 6 weeks after my application was completed. Hope this info helps! And good luck!
  7. SPEA sent me an email when I completed my application saying the average time was 2-3 weeks. Good luck!
  8. Never mind! I just recieved my acceptance letter today via email. Good luck to anyone else who applied!
  9. I applied to SPEA for Fall 2015. Over a month ago, I recieved an email that my application was complete and forwarded to the admissions committee. The email said admission decisions generally take 2-3 weeks, but I haven't heard anything since. Has anyone else applied and heard anything? I'm just curious because I hate waiting haha.
