  1. Thanks, I'm hoping the same for your WL programs as well.
  2. I was waitlisted at Tulane, if anyone has recieved acceptance there and is not attending PLEASE let them know ASAP. Thank you.
  3. Hope you get into one of your other desired schools.
  4. NYU (which seems unlikely but still a possibility) and Tulane...I have an A average in my MA courses at a top 30 university in the world. But my GRE is terrible...I have a feeling that's what's holding me back. Grrrrr. C'mon Tulane give me some love.
  5. Both are great but you should consider cost and professor of interest as some of your biggest factors.
  6. Got rejected by Vanderbilt today...losing animo but holding out hope that one of the las two schools will take me in.
  7. Does whoever got into NYU (felicidades) want to give some more details? GRE scores, areas of interests, POI, publications, MA, offers etc. etc. Muchas gracias!
  8. It's better than a "no" right? Buena Suerte.
  9. Have you heard anything from NYU or tried to contact them?
  10. Got rejecteed from Cornell today...0/3 so far...waiting to hear back from 3 more schools...feeling bummed but I just need one person to say yes. Is it just me or is it really tough out there this year? I've got an MA and good gpa. My gre is lacking and no pubs doesn't help. But geeeez.
  11. I noticed that some people had received interviews from Princeton and I had not. I emailed them today and they said I wasn't accepted into their program. If you applied there and have not heard back, you might consider emailing them--and I wouldn't get your hopes up.
  12. Thanks for all the help Beatriz--and just to answer your question, I have not reported anything yet. So that means two people have been rejected from Pitt.
  13. Just thought I'd introduce myself--I study Contemporary Peninsular Lit. Pitt sent me a rejection letter already. I saw that some people already got interviews to Princeton--if I haven't gotten one by now does that mean I haven't got in...Or is there still a possibility of being waitlisted? Anyone know how seriously any these schools take GRE scores? And finally, does anyone have any idea about how many students are usually accepted per cycle at these institutions? (Yes, question overload--I know many of them might be difficult to answer but just looking for some thoughts.) Applied: Pitt, NYU, Princeton, Vanderbilt, Cornell, Tulane Rejected: 1/6 Interviewed: 0/6 Waitlisted 0/6 Admitted: 0/6
