  1. Not a colleague? But then who would I get letters from then? I can't get one from academia. I'm not sure who else I could get it from
  2. i didn't realize I had to ask for 3 letters of recommendations. I have asked both my managers at work but not sure what to do for the third. I reached out to one professor that I took a class from last year but he didn't remember me so I don't feel comfortable pursuing it. Has anyone submitted an app without actually meeting the requirements for letters of recommendation? Should I be asking other colleagues to write recommendations?
  3. Yeah, I actually went through that as well. I'm still trying to decide if I want to commit to studying again for it but seems like the most important thing I can do is review as much as I can the questions I got wrong / took a long time and figure out why that was the case. I thought I did already, though. I think I'm just pretty anxious with this sort of testing - not sure if I can get over the anxiety issues but we'll figure out in a day or two what I'm going to do.
  4. Hey guys. I'm a bit lost on how to improve my scores for a retake. I took the test a few days ago and sort of faltered in the second half as I got flustered not knowing how to quickly address the quant questions and lost time. I got a score - Q 159 / V 157 with mostly quant focus during study. I intend to apply to either Comp Sci or Data Science programs and I know my quant score is pretty much at the average and should be higher for those type of programs. I've already gone through... 1) Manhattan Prep guides and 5 tests 2) All of the official guides and tests 3) The majority of Math questions on Magoosh Outside of the actual test, most of the issues I have is with timing and making careless mistakes. For an application, I really just have till right after the 21 day window to take the test again. Not sure how to improve my quant score though from now till then. Would it really help to revisit the same questions I've gone over and fully understand the ones I might have gotten wrong? I did review them several times over before taking the actual test so not sure really how I can improve.
